The Mailchimp capture connector in Estuary captures marketing, campaign, audience, and engagement data through the Mailchimp Marketing API and loads each selected resource into an Estuary collection. Depending on the resource, the connector uses incremental replication or full refreshes to keep downstream data up to date.

• API-based data capture from Mailchimp
• Incremental replication for campaigns, email activity, list members, and segments
• Full-refresh replication for automations, automation emails, lists, interests, interest categories, segment members, and tags
• Separate Estuary collections for each selected Mailchimp resource
• Configurable sync intervals for individual resources
• Configurable start date for eligible data, defaulting to 30 days before the present date
• Scheduled backfills for resources that need periodic re-capture
• OAuth2 or Mailchimp API key authentication

Campaigns are periodically re-captured because Mailchimp campaign records can continue changing after they are created, such as when campaign status or reporting statistics change. By default, the campaigns stream attempts a backfill once per day at midnight UTC. Campaign deletions are not captured.
