The Supabase connector performs real-time change data capture (CDC) from your Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database into Estuary Flow collections, keeping data continuously synchronized across systems.
- Real-time CDC ingestion: Streams inserts, updates, and deletes from Supabase PostgreSQL tables into Flow in near real time via logical replication.
- Seamless Supabase integration: Works with Supabase’s PostgreSQL instances using a direct connection that bypasses the connection pooler for CDC compatibility.
- Automatic setup and backfill: Can automatically create publications, replication slots, and watermarks tables, and optionally backfill existing table data.

💡 Tip: To enable CDC on Supabase, make sure **wal_level** is set to logical, and connect using the direct database hostname (not the connection pooler) from your Supabase dashboard.
