Today, we’re excited to share that Estuary has raised a $17 million Series A, led by M13, with participation from FirstMark and Operator Partners. This milestone isn’t just about capital, it’s about accelerating our mission: to simplify how the world moves data so enterprises can power analytics, operations, and AI with dependable, right-time data.

The problem we set out to solve

Every enterprise relies on data integration, but for decades, teams have faced the same painful trade-off:

  • Batch pipelines are simple but too slow for modern AI-driven use cases.
  • Streaming pipelines are fast but notoriously brittle, expensive, and hard to manage.

As organizations race to adopt AI and real-time decision-making, this trade-off has become impossible to ignore. Most enterprises end up adopting both batch and streaming systems that double complexity, creating pipelines that disagree, and moving data a fraction as fast as they should. Data engineers shouldn’t have to choose between speed, reliability, and control, or juggle three different tools just to keep data moving.

The Estuary approach

We built Estuary to end this trade-off. Estuary unifies batch and real-time data movement in one dependable platform, giving teams full control over latency, cost, and deployment.

With Estuary, enterprises can:

  • Control latency like a dial: sub-second, near real-time, or batch - depending on the workload.
  • Deploy anywhere: SaaS, BYOC, or private plane - for security and compliance.
  • Cut total cost of ownership by 40–60% compared with MAR-based pricing.
  • Accelerate time-to-market for streaming solutions without operational burden.

This is right-time data movement - data that arrives exactly when it’s needed, powering the next generation of AI, analytics, and operations.

What this means for enterprises

For our customers, this funding means faster innovation, deeper support, and broader integrations.

Enterprises in finance, healthcare, logistics, and SaaS already depend on Estuary to consolidate stacks, reduce costs, and modernize their data infrastructure.

Now, with this Series A, we’re expanding our engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to bring Estuary to more enterprises worldwide.

Looking ahead

This is just the beginning. We’ll continue to partner with leading SaaS providers, cloud platforms, and system integrators to make right-time data movement the standard for modern enterprises.

We’re deeply grateful to our customers, investors, and team for believing in this vision.

If you’re ready to explore how Estuary can transform your data strategy, whether through SaaS, BYOC, or private deployment, we’d love to talk.
